The exact service required can only be confirmed after inspecting the door and locking system. A simple closed door, a failed cylinder and a jammed multipoint mechanism may look similar to the customer but require very different work.
The displayed fees include travel, and the confirmed on-site price becomes the final price.
Standard lock replacement
30,000-40,000 HUF
This price range applies to a typical lock or cylinder replacement when the door can still be opened normally.
The exact amount depends mainly on the type and size of the replacement component, the quality and security level selected, the number of supplied keys and whether door adjustment is also required.
This is one of our most common services. When the door is open and the mechanism is accessible, replacement can usually be completed without damage.
Standard entrance-door opening
From 30,000 HUF
This applies to more straightforward entrance-door openings, such as certain closed but not mechanically failed doors.
The final method and price depend on the installed cylinder, fittings and whether the door is only closed or fully locked.

Security or more complex door opening
35,000-40,000 HUF
This range may apply to security doors, multipoint locks or openings that require more time, specialist tools or a more complex procedure.
Examples include Chinese-made security doors, higher-security cylinders, multipoint locking systems, mechanically failed locks and specialised entrance-door systems.
The exact price is confirmed after the door and lock have been assessed.
Installation of a new lock after opening
Additional 10,000-15,000 HUF
If the opening process or the original fault makes replacement necessary, a new cylinder or lock component can often be installed immediately.
This installation fee is added to the opening charge. The cost of the replacement part itself depends on the selected model and security level.
What is included in the price?
The listed service prices include the technician travelling to the address within Budapest.
Depending on the service, the agreed price may also include diagnosis of the fault, professional door opening, removal of the failed component, installation work, basic testing and adjustment, and confirmation that the door locks and opens correctly.
Replacement cylinders, lock mechanisms and other parts are priced according to the selected product unless explicitly included in the quoted package.

Why can the final price vary?
Different doors can require very different levels of work.
The price may be affected by the type of door, whether it is closed or fully locked, the installed cylinder and mechanism, the condition of the lock, internal failures, previous drilling or forcing attempts, the required replacement component and the complexity of the work.
A standard apartment door with a common cylinder is usually easier to service than a security door with a failed multipoint mechanism. For this reason, the final price is confirmed after inspection.
What does “final price” mean?
We inspect the door, explain the required work and provide the price before starting.
Once you accept the quotation, that price becomes the agreed final fee for the described work. There are no hidden charges or unexpected additions after the job has been completed.
The only exception is when the customer requests additional work or when the actual situation is materially different from the information provided before arrival. In that case, we explain the revised options and price before continuing.
Telephone price estimates
We can often provide a useful preliminary estimate by telephone or WhatsApp.
To help us assess the situation, please tell us your exact location, the type of door, whether the key is available, whether the key enters or turns, whether the handle moves, whether the door is only closed or fully locked, and whether anyone has already drilled or forced the lock.
Clear photographs of the door, handle, cylinder and door edge are also helpful.
A telephone estimate is based on the information available. The final price is confirmed after the actual door and mechanism have been inspected.
Replacement parts
The price of replacement parts varies according to dimensions, manufacturer, security category, number of keys, emergency function, restricted-key protection and compatibility with the door.
We do not automatically recommend the most expensive product. Our goal is to install a reliable component that suits the door, the customer’s security requirements and the expected period of use.

Cancellation after dispatch
Once a locksmith has been dispatched, a call-out fee may apply if the service is cancelled.
This may also apply when the cancellation occurs before the technician arrives, because travel time and availability have already been committed to the booking.

Payment methods
We accept cash in Hungarian forints, cash in euros, instant Hungarian bank transfer and Revolut transfer.
An invoice or receipt is provided for the completed service.
Warranty
We provide a one-year warranty on our installation work and eligible replacement parts, subject to normal use and the applicable product conditions.
The warranty does not normally cover damage caused by misuse, forced operation, external damage, door movement or later work carried out by another person.
Where a problem occurs, contact us and describe the symptoms so we can assess whether it falls under the warranty.
